Cheek bench with backrest . TENSION

Description

The starting point for our design was the idea of connecting and stabilizing the two slightly outwardly splayed sides of this large-format table and bench with a solid teak bridge. We chose a handcrafted wedge design to firmly anchor the web and stringers. The result is not only an “exciting” shape in the literal sense of the word, but also an interesting material contrast: the very flat HPL material looks really good together with the solid teak!
